Crispy Sesame Tofu Bites

Ingredients
Tofu Bites
  • 1 block firm Tofu
  • 1tbsp Soy Sauce/Tamari
  • 1tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1cup Soy Milk
  • 1cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 2tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1tsp Garlic granules
  • 1/2tsp Salt
Sesame Glaze
  • 1tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 2tbsp Maple Syrupor honey
  • 2tsp Rice Wine Vinegar
  • Sriracha Mayonnaise :optional
  • 3tbsp vegan Mayonnaise
  • 3tsp Sriracha
Instructions
  1. Tear the tofu into bite-sized chunks and put them into a shallow bowl. Add the soy sauce and sesame oil and gently toss around with your hands until the tofu pieces are evenly coated.
  2. Put the soy milk into a bowl. In another bowl, mix together the panko breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, garlic granules and salt.
  3. Dip the tofu pieces into the soy milk first, and then into the breadcrumbs. Gently turn them around in the breadcrumb bowl until fully coated.
  4. Carefully place the tofu pieces into the air fryer and air fry at 200°C for 10 to 15 minutes or until crispy and golden.
  5. Meanwhile, whisk together the ingredients for the sesame glaze.
  6. Put the crispy tofu into a shallow bowl and pour over the sesame glaze. Gently toss the tofu around in the glaze. Serve with the sriracha mayo to dip and enjoy!
