Ingredients
  • 20g Dried Black Plum
  • 45g Dried Hawthorn Berries
  • 10g Dried Licorice Root
  • 90g Brown Sugar
  • 1L Water
Instructions
  1. Rinse all herbs under cold water to remove any residue.
  2. Place all ingredients (excluding brown sugar) into a pot.
  3. Heat the pot over high heat and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. After 30 minutes, check the ingredients and continue to simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Gradually stir in the 90g of brown sugar until completely dissolved.
  7. Remove the pot from heat and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
  8. Once cooled, transfer the herbal mixture to a container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
  9. To serve, pour your desired amount into a glass, add ice if desired, and enjoy!
